These terms are effective 21 August 2026. Garmin connectivity is available through GraviRun's existing integration and requires your separate consent through Garmin's official authorization flow.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing, registering for, or using GraviRun, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

GraviRun is an early-stage running-coaching platform operated by Victor Basin. GraviRun is intended to be accessed through a GPT in a user's own ChatGPT account. ChatGPT/OpenAI generates the coaching analysis; GraviRun provides the platform and data connection and does not call the OpenAI API directly. Registering for GraviRun does not guarantee access or availability.

3. Health, Safety & AI Disclaimers

3.1 Not Medical Advice

GraviRun and ChatGPT output provide general training information, not medical guidance, diagnosis, or emergency help. Check recommendations independently and consult a qualified professional before changing training. You train at your own risk.

3.2 Assumption of Risk

Running carries inherent risks of injury, illness, and in rare cases death. By using GraviRun, you acknowledge that you are participating in physical activity at your own risk and accept all responsibility for any injury, illness, or damage that may result.

3.3 Running-Specific Health Warnings

Running, particularly at high intensity or long distances, carries specific health risks that GraviRun cannot detect, prevent, or treat. These include but are not limited to:

Overtraining syndrome - running has one of the highest overtraining rates of any endurance sport. If GraviRun recommends increasing training load, you must consider your overall fatigue, sleep, and recovery. Do not increase training solely on AI recommendation.
Sudden cardiac arrest - marathon and half-marathon participation carries a non-trivial risk of sudden cardiac events, especially in masters runners (age 40+). GraviRun does not screen for cardiac conditions. Consult a physician before beginning any training program.
Exertional heat stroke - running in heat is a leading cause of exercise-related death. GraviRun may not account for temperature, humidity, or heat index in its recommendations. Do not follow high-intensity recommendations in dangerous heat conditions.
Rhabdomyolysis - severe overtraining can lead to exertional rhabdomyolysis, a serious condition. Do not push through severe muscle pain or dark urine. Seek immediate medical attention.
Pre-existing conditions - if you have hypertension, asthma, arrhythmia, pregnancy, recent injury, or any other medical condition, consult a physician before following any training recommendation from GraviRun.

3.4 AI Limitations

GraviRun uses large language models (such as GPT-4) through your ChatGPT account. These models are probabilistic and can make mistakes. They do not have access to your medical history or physical examination. Physiological data is available to the coaching logic only where you have authorised it through the Garmin integration. Recommendations may be incorrect, inappropriate for your fitness level, or fail to account for conditions the AI cannot detect.

3.5 No Reliance

You must use your own judgment when following any recommendation from GraviRun. Do not rely solely on AI-generated advice for decisions that affect your health and safety.

3.6 Not a Crisis Service

GraviRun is not a medical, mental health, or emergency service. If you experience chest pain, severe shortness of breath, dizziness, or any medical emergency during exercise, stop immediately and call emergency services.

4. User Accounts & Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use GraviRun. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. Provide a valid email address you own.

5. Your Content and Data

You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you share with GraviRun. Do not share another person's data without their consent. Your data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

Provide a valid email address you own.
Do not abuse, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service.
One account per person.
Do not use GraviRun to obtain medical advice for conditions you have not had evaluated by a physician.

7. Third-Party Services

GraviRun works through ChatGPT (OpenAI). You are subject to OpenAI's terms of service when using ChatGPT. Garmin connectivity uses Garmin's official authorization flow and requires your consent. GraviRun does not ask for your Garmin password. Garmin and Garmin Connect are trademarks of Garmin Ltd. Strava is a trademark of Strava Inc. Apple Health is a trademark of Apple Inc. GraviRun is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies.

8. Intellectual Property

All content and branding on this site belong to GraviRun. The GraviRun name, logo, and design are the intellectual property of GraviRun.

9. Termination

GraviRun may terminate or suspend access at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the service at any time.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

10.1 Service Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" during the current access period, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Features may change during the current access period.

10.2 Limitation of Liability

GraviRun disclaims liability to the extent permitted by law for any damages that are indirect, incidental, or consequential in nature, as well as punitive damages. This covers personal injury, illness, medical costs, lost income, or missed training time connected to your use of GraviRun or its recommendations. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid GraviRun in the past 12 months, or €100, whichever is greater.

10.3 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GraviRun from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your training activities, or your violation of these terms.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent applicable. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms

We will update this page as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced by email to confirmed subscribers. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
